A very good example of the attractive blue mineral turquoise. Although small, this is a good solid piece of turquoise of excellent colour, rather than just a coating.
Gunheath China Clay Pit has produced beautiful specimens of turquoise over the years, occurring in layers in the granite.
This specimen was collected several decades ago and is from an old collection.
