A well preserved trilobite from Morocco. There has been some skilful repair and restoration but it is still a lovely little specimen.
Trilobites, an extinct class of marine animals, are the oldest of all the familiar fossils. They were remarkably diverse during the Devonian period and the Devonian trilobites from Morocco are some of the best preserved in the world.
