A nice specimen of one of the beautiful small trilobites from Utah in the USA.
Trilobites are extinct marine animals and some of the oldest of all fossils. This trilobite is of the species Elrathia kingii and in Utah is found in extremely high concentrations in the famous Wheeler Shales of Middle Cambrian age.
