Striated, glossy black crystals of tourmaline in pale brown feldspar. From a pegmatite granite on the south coast of Cornwall.
This specimen was collected in the 1970s. This section of the Cornish coast is now a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) and collecting is restricted.
Size: approx. 8 x 6 x 4.5 centimetres
