« backTOURMALINE CRYSTALS
14 small crystals in gemstone box
Tourmaline can occur in many different colours. It is a boron silicate but it also contains trace elements and it is these elements that give it its colour, although natural ionizing radiation could also play a part.
The vividly-coloured tourmalines are of the variety elbaite, named after the island of Elba in Italy.
Presented in a gemstone display box.
