Glossy booklet published in 1997 explaining the background to one of the most important fossils ever found in Britain. 

The West Runton Elephant was discovered in 1990 in the cliffs of West Runton, near Cromer. It is the fossilised skeleton of a steppe mammoth (Mammuthus trogontherii) and is the largest, nearly complete mammoth skeleton known. It is about 600,000 years old and the oldest found in Britain.
