The Observer's Books were a series of small, pocket-sized books, published by Frederick Warne & Co in the United Kingdom from 1937 to 2003.

  

The Observer’s Book of Geology is probably Britain’s best known book on geology and a collector’s item. It covers the principal rocks, minerals and fossils of the British Isles and is a great introduction to the science, despite its age.

   

Published by Frederick Warne and Co. Undated but thought to 1956.  Hardcover with dust jacket. 267 pages. Black and white photographs with some colour photographs. Black and white illustrations.
