Unpolished piece of raw amber from the island of Sumatra in Indonesia. It resembles hard toffee.
The amber from Indonesia is a fossil tree resin found in association with coal and lignite. Some of the amber from Indonesia is known as ‘blue amber’ due to a surface fluorescence when exposed to ultraviolet light.
