A delightful small, polished sample of Vånga Granite, from Sweden.
The Vånga Pluton is one of a suite of 1.4 billion year old granites in Southern Sweden with rich red potassium feldspars and black biotite mica.
The sample is originally from a university collection. It is presented in a clear plastic display box.
