This beautiful granite is of Carboniferous age and is mostly composed of alkali feldspar of a delicate pink colour, quartz, and biotite mica.
It is named after the town in Spain where it is quarried. It is used for external and internal cladding of buildings world-wide, as well as shop fronts, tables and countertops.
This is a lovely sample. Unpolished, but with a very smooth, matt surface.
