QUARTZ CRYSTALS

From the Western Himalayas.
Skardu District,
Baltistan, North Pakistan
A very attractive group of quartz crystals from the mountains of North Pakistan. The crystals are unusual as they have been coloured by iron (limonite). Crystals of this colour are sometimes called 'golden quartz'.
The crystals are undamaged.
