Terebratula

Kallo, near Antwerp, Belgium
Very fine, large brachiopod from the Pliocene deposits of Belgium. From an old collection. The shell has been slightly crushed on one side.

Temporary excavations for dock and other works at Kallo have produced a rich and diverse Pliocene fauna.
