A phantom quartz crystal is one where former growth stages are visible as ghost-like inclusions. In this case the underside of the crystal shows that there were several stages of growth starting with milky quartz and finishing with smoky quartz.
A phantom quartz crystal is one where former growth stages are visible as ghost-like inclusions. In this case the underside of the crystal shows that there were several stages of growth starting with milky quartz and finishing with smoky quartz.
The body of the crystal is formed by multiple smaller crystals. Some refer to this as ‘elestial quartz’ although this is not a scientific term.
It is from an old collection and its origin is unknown.
