containing sparkling flakes of mica.

Gipping Valley, Suffolk
At Great Blakenham hard, compact masses sometimes occurred in the Chillesford Sand. They were often of curious sculptural shapes and contained glittering flakes of mica.
They were formed by precipitation of mineral cement within the spaces between the sand grains.
