MOLYBDENITE IN QUARTZ

Similar in appearance to graphite, the extremely soft, flexible, silvery mineral molybdenite is the main ore of molybdenum.

Carrock Mine was originally a tungsten mine and the only British tungsten deposit outside of southwestern England that was worked commercially.
