MENILITE
A variety of opal that forms into remarkable bulbous shapes
Morocco
Menilite is a type of opal that occurs as chalky white globular concretions. It is named after Ménilmontant, a suburb of Paris, where it was first found. It is now also known from other countries such as Japan, Spain and Morocco.
This is a very good example - like a man-made work of sculpture.
