MAGNETITE SAND
South Crofty Mine, Cornwall
A small quantity of sand containing almost entirely black magnetite. It was panned from sediment by Tom Kellow of Scorrier in about 1969.
Presented in a vintage glass phial with a cork stopper. The magnet is included.
