A small fossil crab carapace from a classic London Clay locality. The foreshore on this part of the Kent coast has yielded fine London Clay fossils for over 200 years. 
  
This specimen was collected in the 1970s and is from an old collection.  The pincers are missing but the carapace is well preserved.
Presented in an acrylic display box.
