KING EDWARD MINE

An Illustrated Account of Underground and Surface Operations 1897 - 2001

By Tony Brooks and John Watton

(Softback) (Second hand copy in 'as new' condition)

The King Edward Mine, near Camborne, was never a large mine but its influence on the world of mining has been immense. This is because from 1897 it was used by the World-famous Camborne School of Mines for training its students.

Much of the surface plant has been restored or replaced to form a working museum in Cornwall's central mining area.

Published by Cornish Hillside Publications. 2002. Softback. 132 pages. Black and white photographs throughout. 'As new' condition.
