Dredged off Weymouth Harbour, Dorset


Ichthyosaurs were fast-swimming marine reptiles that dominated the Jurassic seas.

These vertebrae are well preserved and solidly fossilised. They are slightly worn and chipped as they have been dredged from the sea floor.
