Abingdon, Oxfordshire
A vertebra of a dinosaur collected in an Oxfordshire gravel pit about 30 years ago. It probably originated in the Kimmeridge Clay and was transported to this part of Oxfordshire during the Ice Age in the gravels of the early River Thames.
It is solidly fossilised and a heavy item. It is slightly corroded in places but otherwise a fine example.
