Bone of the dinosaur Allosaurus, that lived in North America during the late Jurassic period. There are at least three species, the commonest of which is Allosaurus fragilis.
This bone was collected in several pieces from the famous Dana Quarry and has therefore been repaired. It is from an old collection, purchased from an American fossil dealer many years ago.
Size: approx. 31 x 10 x 1.5 centimetres
