A beautiful specimen of a classic Jurassic ammonite preserved in a nodule.
The ammonite has been skillfully prepared to reveal it whilst retaining the shape of the original nodule in which it was found. It would make a spectacular ornament in a home or office.
The Androgynoceras nodules of the Charmouth coast are well known and this is a really lovely example. It has a flat base so it displays well.
Size: 14 x 10.5 x 6 centimetres (ammonite approx. 6 centimetres diameter)
