A Jurassic ammonite with a strongly ribbed shell, natural as found.
  
The name Stephanoceras means ‘crown horn’ which is a reference to the tubercles which appear around the shell like a crown and an ammonite’s resemblance to a tightly-coiled ram’s horn.
