A pyritised ammonite from the classic locality of Warboys in Cambridgeshire. Collected from the pit in 1986.
Warboys clay pit was worked by the London Brick Company and had an unrivalled section through the Upper Oxford Clay, producing at least 23 species of ammonites.
The pit has been disused for many years and is now an SSSI with no collecting allowed.
