An unpolished slice of Jurassic agatised dinosaur bone revealing the internal cells filled with red jasper. This piece has excellent cell structure, particularly when viewed with a hand lens.
Agatised dinosaur bone is a rare type of fossilised dinosaur bone where the original bone has been replaced with agate, jasper or chalcedony.
