Abereiddy Bay, Dyfed, Wales

Graptolites were colonial animals that drifted in the surface waters of the oceans during the Palaeozoic Era.  They have a worldwide distribution. 

This particular species are known as ‘tuning fork’ graptolites and are of the species Didymograptus murchisoni
