A gorgeous trilobite of lovely colour, complete with spines. This species of trilobite is rare to find well preserved. The colour is due to oxidation of iron pyrite to limonite.
Trilobites are extinct marine animals and some of the oldest of all fossils. They were active predators and dominated the oceans during the early Palaeozoic Era.
Size: approx. 12.5 x 9.5 x 2.5 centimetres (trilobite 5.5 centimetres long).
Weight: 370 grams
