GEOLOGY OF THE STATE OF HAWAII

(Second hand copy) (ex. library book in fair condition) (1966)

By Harold T. Stearns

A comprehensive geology of the Hawaiian Islands, a 1,500 mile long archipelago of eight major volcanic islands in the Pacific Ocean. It is written for both the professional geologist and the layperson and is very well illustrated with beautifully detailed black and white maps and diagrams. There are four pages of colour photos.

Although somewhat dated (1966) it is will still be of interest to volcanologists and anyone interested in the natural history of these islands.

This is an ex. library book and has the usual library marks and stamps. The book has been well read but is in fair condition. The dust jacket is in good condition.
