The geology of California is highly complex, with numerous mountain ranges. The oldest rocks are gneiss and schist, metamorphic rocks of Precambrian age. 

This is a beautiful map.  It is folded and supplied in a card wallet. The map is in excellent condition but the wallet is a little worn.
