Dartmoor, Devon

A good specimen of solid galena (lead ore) with lustrous cleavage surfaces.
 
Wheal Betsy was a silver/lead mine on the western edge of Dartmoor which closed in 1877. It has the only remaining traditional engine house on Dartmoor.
