Fossilised teeth of sharks and rays, derived from Eocene and Miocene strata and found on the shores of the River Deben in the late 1970s. They have been washed from the basement 'coprolite bed' of the Red Crag.

The surface ‘gloss’ is entirely natural and is seen on all the teeth and bones from the Red Crag.
From an old collection. Presented in a gemstone display box with a glass lid.
