Fleischer’s Glossary of Mineral Species is a classic reference book used by serious mineral collectors throughout the world.  The first edition was published in 1971 and it is updated every four years to keep up with new mineral species being described each year. 

The book is arranged alphabetically by mineral species and gives the chemical composition, crystal system, type locality, references and relationships to other species.  Mineral groups form a substantial appendix. 4233 mineral species are listed.
