DOUBLY-TERMINATED QUARTZ CRYSTALS, NATURALLY GROWN TOGETHER

DOUBLY-TERMINATED QUARTZ CRYSTALS
Quartz naturally forms six-sided crystals with pyramid-like ends called ‘terminations’. These two crystals have a 'frosted' surface and have naturally grown together.
There are crystal faces on all sides which indicates that the specimen is a 'floater'. In other words, it formed without being attached to a host rock and developed without any contact points.
This is a nice, aesthetic specimen which looks good for display. It is from an old collection and its origin is unknown.
