A well preserved vertebra of this famous African dinosaur.
Gadoufaoua is a site in the Ténéré desert of Niger known for its extensive fossil graveyard, particularly dinosaurs such as Nigersaurus. The area is now very hot and dry, but during the Cretaceous period it had lush vegetation with wide rivers.
