DINOSAUR BONE - 125 million years old - Isle of Wight
« backBONE OF A DINOSAUR
125 million years old
(Cretaceous period)
A piece of dinosaur bone from the beach at Brook Bay, which originates from rock strata in the cliffs known as the Wessex Formation (part of the Wealden Group).
This is a lovely cut and polished slice which shows the structure of the bone, especially under a hand lens. It is thought to be from a sauropod dinosaur.
Presented in a lidded gift box.
