A small slab of fine-grained sandstone from the Weald Clay Group containing scales, vertebrae and other bones of sharks and fish.
It was deposited on a coastline at a time when the nearby land was populated by many species of dinosaurs.
This specimen is from an old collection and was collected from a Sussex brick pit in the 1980s. The precise provenance is not known.
