CAMBRIDGESHIRE GEOLOGY:

A SKETCH FOR THE USE OF STUDENTS

By T. G. Bonney (1875)

(Hardback) (Second hand copy in good condition)

Cambridgeshire is mostly low-lying, and there is much clayland and fen, but it has a lot to interest the geologist, with important outcrops of Jurassic and Cretaceous rocks, and significant geological sites which have enhanced our knowledge of the Ice Age.

This “Sketch” by Professor Bonney of Cambridge University was published in 1875. It is in very good condition internally but the hardback cover is a little discoloured and slightly wrinkled in places.

Published by the Deighton, Bell and Co. Hardback. 1875. 82 pages. Good condition. Late nineteenth century owner's name on title page.
