DISPLAY BOX CONTAINING
REAL FOSSIL SHARKS TEETH

FROM THE LONDON CLAY
ISLE OF SHEPPEY, KENT

50 million years old

A selection of fossilised sharks teeth in a plastic display box with a glass lid.

A shark has jaws packed with a frightening array of teeth.  The teeth are only loosely attached to the jaw and often fall out to be preserved in the mud on the sea floor.

These fossils are from the London Clay cliffs on the north coast of the Isle of Sheppey, Kent. They were collected from the beach in the 1980s.
