AMBER WITH TWO FOSSIL INSECTS - 40 million years old - Baltic
« backAMBER - CONTAINING TWO FOSSIL INSECTS
40 million years old
From the Baltic states of Eastern Europe
A piece of polished amber containing two fossil insects. The larger insect can be clearly seen with the naked eye.
Because the smallest insects and spiders were most frequently trapped by the sticky resin, almost all are very small. A minimum x10 magnification hand lens is therefore recommended to see them clearly.
Provided in a clear plastic display box with descriptive label.
Close-up colour photograph(s) of this piece of amber are also included.
